    I worked at George Hammonds for about 10 years all told, all of which was on a zero hours contract. I also worked at the Dover Cruise terminal for nearly 3 years on a zero hours contract.

    That was necessary for these businesses to survive and I enjoyed every minute of working for both of those employers and if my circumstance was different, I dare say I could walk back into both of those jobs tomorrow even at my age and I would be delighted to do so.

    But this thread is about shops and others businesses that have adopted the zero hour policy not because there business structure dictates it but their inclement to line their own pockets does.

    How do you justify why more than 150 people are employed on zero hours contracts at the House of Commons?
