  Peter Wallace DDC Labour Councillor for Maxton and Elms Vale. Keith, the information that you are asking for is a matter of public record.
  
  He's made no claims for hospitality or gifts, he's entitled to expenses as per DDC public policy on such, available from their website and the same annual allowance as all other councillors (when I last checked this was £3,980 per annum). So, since elected last year, the public record shows that he has had the annual allowance allowed to all councillors for which he has put in a great deal of effort and out of hours working knocking on doors, talking to constituents, listening to concerns and problems, providing assistance to constituents and attending meetings and events whose outcomes will affect the well being of his constituents.
  
  Peter is not alone in working for the people of the area which elected him; a fair number of councillors of all colours and none do the same day in and day out throughout their tenure. I just wish that all of them would put local needs and concerns ahead of personal and party political agendas and dogma.
