The PM is sounding very bullish on this one, just a question of whether his manner is stronger than his staying power.

Having read various reports slippery Dave has only promised not to pay on the date ordered!!
What we will see is a few million taken off the bill which will then be paid on the quiet.

UK has to pay a fortune while France and Germany get a rebate, just the sort of announcement that UKIP will relish.

As a UKIP member I am sick of seeing the EU take away not only our way of life but our cash to .UKIP will win this by-election hands down soon it will take over the LIP-DEM with seats as MPS good thing to as the lib-dem \ WANT TO DO AWAY WITH THE DRUGS LAWS they are a very wet party and need to go they will lose most of their MPs next year UKIP WILL take their place in the number 3 major party but they might also hold the seat of power longside the blues we must not let the reds in again.Only my way of thinking.

Peter R, I understand that Vic has in fact rejoined UKIP but will not be active in this constituency. I think that should keep everyone happy.

No surprise Osborne caves in, the only difference is that payment is deferred until next year.

That about sums it up, even the EU are saying that he has agreed to pay the full amount.
