    Actually he is wrong about the sons of camel drivers, they aren't interested in the port. It's the sons of Chiang Kai-Shek I'm more worried about.

    A very small man physically (Kathryn used to call him Mr Magoo) but immensely shrewd, he taught me more about business than anyone else I have ever known. At the time of his death he was probably the richest honest man in Saudi Arabia. Not popular with the royals, he hated the bribery and corruption which has always been endemic in the Arab world and used to expose it whenever possible.
