WHPS are pleased to announce their annual lecture evening that will be held at the Dover Discovery Centre on the evening of Saturday 5th January 2013.
We will have sessions by Phil Eyden and Gary Baines. Phil will give an update on recent historical discoveries about the Western Heights with some interestingnuggets of information and fascinating facts.
Gary is a founder member of the Friends of Shoreham Fort which was built in the 1850s to protect Shoreham Harbour. Through the efforts of the group the fort has recently been removed from the Heritage at Risk register and Gary will give an update on the work of the group.
