About half an hour ago I saw a warden put a ticket on an Italian registered Fiat. Is there now a reciprocal arrangement between countries to follow up unpaid fines?

More likely the warden was feeling optimistic.

The odd thing was after doing the ticketing he crossed the road then came back again, tapped something into his contraption then stuck something else on the windscreen.

Have a look at the cz registered Vauxhall Astra estate which runs round the town, its white with a red bonnet i think. It was involved in shunt the other day on Coombe valley road, clearly wants more than a ticket it needs lifting and put into a crusher, quite clearly in an unroadworthy state with one front wheel pushed back further than its other, quite easy to see.The driver doesnt seem to give a toss.I,ve driven some old wrecks in my time but this one really takes the p###.

A most impressive motor, to think it made it here from Czeckoslovakia, I would guess it wouldn't make it back again though!

A couple of doors from me is home to 3 Czech registered Skodas, a car and two white vans. The car must be well over 20 years old and the bonnet and boot rattle when it is driven along. The vans take ages to start and the noise coming from them suggests they have never ever been serviced.

There an english car parked in my street it has not moved since june/july there is no road tax on it one of the tyres is flat.I have reported it to the the D.D.C. & they say that there is no prove that it has been dumped,it is locked,& they will keep an eye on it,as yet nothing has happened. So I reported it to the D.V.L.A on line but once again I have not heard anything from them.& the car is still there.

Correct me if I am wrong but I thought tax discs were a thing of the past. About 5 years ago a car was parked outside my house for a week and by the angle it was parked it looked like someone was in a great hurry to leave the scene. It had no tax disc so I rang Swansea gave the details and was told that it was taxed.

We have an English? car in Salisbury Road that has not moved since the summer but apparently it is taxed so there is nothing to be done.

You can look up to see if a car has road tax by go to D.V.L.A or by giving them a ring quoting the make & index plate & they will tell you if it is taxed.

Been static for a few days. If that had been a UK car the windscreen would have covered with tickets by now.

Thats the old heap i mentioned, the wheel on the otherside is well out of alignment with the other.English reg car would never get away with it,well i suppose it might due to the lack of ol bill about.
