Is everybody aware that from the new timetable in Jan 2015, all Dover/Folkestone peak HS services will now also be calling at Ebbsfleet? - no more direct trains from Ashford to London nor on the way home. So your service will take marginally longer - this despite the removal of the link-up at Ashford. But dont worry, its not all bad news - no peak Canterbury services will be required to call at Ebbsfleet at all, cutting their journey time to 51 minutes. (and you pay more than them, and your fare increase will be larger).
SouthEastern have a past history of slipping extra stops into Dover services, and eroding them until they become stoppers and unusable - look at the old main line services now!
They must not be allowed to slip this change through while shouting "improvement", when there is no benefit to Folkestone/Dover at all (in fact it makes it worse).
Dover Council are now aware of this change, as is Charlie Elphicke, but I would urge any commuters to press the case to them and to SouthEastern and let them know that this biased change in preference of Canterbury will not be accepted.

    Cheers, SteveC
