    Thank You for your erudite and very civilised (I wouldn't expect anything else) posting Alan. I signed that petition for River school and was very happy to do so.
    I don't think Sue quite said exactly that, it is true that a cause will have more power (in planning terms) if the same number of people send in letters, than put their names on a petition, but it did get the desired result, so well done.

    I still firmly believe that it would have been better (from a DTIZ point of view) to have sent in questions to DDC asking for them to be forwarded on to Bond City to answer.
    There has been no unnecessary delays by DDC - officers or members. At every major stage where a vote has been required by Council, it has been supported by ALL members - completely cross-party.
