This is haw most uk contract work is usually dun and won ,, whether it be construction work or apple picking or tying up boats if they get their way

Company one wins the contract, and money changes hands

A percentage of that money is then given to a east European gang master installed on the job ,he then recruit from his home land and takes a cut from all the workers,

The EU worker can work for peanuts because the currency exchange works to give them workers a very good wage for their work.

The company that have won the contract in the first place are not bothered about who works on the job as long as they get their cut.

In fact they win the contract because they can use a cheap gang master to under cut other companions.

The gang master and all the workers usually all disappear with out paying tax an NI.
