    Oirish Gold medal..strewth!
    When the flag was being raised last night I stood to attention when i heard our national anthem..well, we dont hear it very often! So with a tear rolling down one cheek ( in tradional pose ) and a hand clasped to the heart.. I savoured the moment in fine style, then followed it with the aforementioned glass of Sanatogen...I couldnt get me hands on the Buckfast and the champagne had run out!


    Although having said all that and even though us Oirish are no longer propping up the rear end of the medals table...my stamina with the Olympics is beginning to pall. Its like being on the last lap of the 10,000 metres..it felt good when it started but now its hurting...




    Claire Balding yesterday tried to tell us Dressage was for the everyday folk...
