I am shortly going to be closing my Justgiving page but before I do, I just wanted to say that I went to see my grandmother yesterday in her nursing home. I shared with her my experience and the photos of the marathon, and told her how much I'd raised for the Stroke Association - £2520. She was very proud and grateful for everyone's support.
I thought it was only fitting, given that I was running for her, that I got some photos of her wearing my medal. Actually since she gave me the motivation and because of her influence in my life, the determination as well, it's our medal to share. I shall just look after it.
