    This thread is a very interesting read. There are some great postings with so much passion and personal input on such a sensitive subject. There is absolutely no doubt that it will require oodles of respect and careful consultation to strike the right balance. Its very clear that if the Heights are to be developed then it should only be done in a manner that dosen't destroy them altogether. Surely English Heritage will take heed and soon.

    Alec, seeing the photos above reminds me of the great chat we had that day, would be nice to catch up again soon
