Perhaps it was awarded for being the only local paper without an office in the town whose name it bears. O I forgot, it would have split the honour with the Dover Mercury if that was the case.

How on earth could a rag that abuses the English language like this (just one tiny example) win anything ?
The dog bit a PCSO on the thigh and was taken to hospital.

I agree Barrie, on the web their English is appalling.

Reminds me of when my dog bit our local county councillor, more than one person asked if the dog was ok.
