    Thanks Ed. The stone-work looks in good condition and it seems to be just the centre part that has no roof, but I guess the damage inside must be quite extensive and costly to repair/restore. Do I remember that the developer didn't have adequate/any insurance and so went bust ?

    I would also find it difficult to believe that it would be a church again - it's not as if our other local churches are at bursting point.
