  Cllr Hood member for Aycliffe was presented with an Award for Long Service 39 years.A record achieviement .The presentation was at the Full Council meeting last evening.I always called him Father of the House .

  What Sue is not telling you is both Sue & Kit Smith also were recognised for 27 & 23 years respectively. They with Jimmy Hood are retiring from DDC in May.
  
  All three have served their communities well.
