Kent on the Via Francigena

Cultural fundraiser event involving walking the first part of the Via Francigena (an ancient pilgrimage route from Canterbury to Rome) which begins in Canterbury and ends in Dover, in aid of Save the Children charity.

The walk will be the first part of this route which includes Canterbury to Dover, a total of 20 miles.

There are three options for those who wish to take part in the event, including:

8 miles
12 miles
20 miles

There are several ways to support this cause. You can register to walk with a suggested donation of £20 (£1 per mile) at http://kentontheviafrancigena.com/via-francigena-fundraiser

Or you can make a donation at https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/viafrancigena

If you want to both walk and donate then you must register on both sites.
